HERD TESTING.
MANAW AT U ASSOCIATION RESULTS. The results of the Manawatu Herd Testing Association for the month of March show an average over the whole Association of 23.771b5. butterfat per cow for the 31 day period, as against 25.23 lbs. butter-fa't per cow for the 29 day period of February, being a drop of 1.46 for the month. The following is a summary of all groups. Group No. 1: Average 20.88 lbs but-ter-fat, highest herd 25.65, lowest 12.87, highest cow 51.12, lowest 3.53. Group No. 2: Average 23.90 lbs b.f., highest herd 40.73, lowest 14.50, highGroup No. 3.: Average 22.94 lbs b.f., highest herd 31.84, lowest 13.61, highest cow 53.04, lowest 3.53. Group No. 4: Average 24.60 lbs b.f., highest herd 37.16, lowest 18.18, highest herd 37.16, lowest 18.18, highest cow 60.74, lowest 6.90. Group No. 5: Average 24.92 lbs. b.f., highest herd 31.99, lowest 17.54, highest cow 50.75, lowest 4.10. Group No. 6: Average 26.17 lbs b.f., highest herd 36.57, lowest 13.49, highest cow 65.26, lowest 2.89. Group No. 7: Average 22.42 lbs b.f., highest herd 38.11, lowest. 13.81, highest cow 58.88, Rnvest 3.53. Group No. 8: Average 20.641bs b.f., highest hord 27.17, lowest 14.45, highest cow 40.01, lowest 4.34. Group No. 9.: Average 24.341bs b.f., highest herd, 35.08, lowest 16.30, highest cow 54.37, lowest 7.81.
