SHANNON STOCK SALE.
Messrs Abraham, and Williams, Ltd., report at Shannon yards on Monday, 2nd inst., they offered a small yarding of sheep and an exceptional yarding of cattle including a large entry of grown bullocks in excellent condition. There was a good attendance of buyers and competition was keen. Practically a total clearance was made at the following prices:—Aged ewes 12s 2d to 14s fid; forward condition 4 and 5-year bullocks £9 18s and £9 19s; fat 3-year steers £8 11s; 3 and 4-year P.A, steers £8 4s• fat cows £6, £6 7s fid to £6 los; light’do. £5, £5 7s fid to £5 12s 6d; forward do. £3 17s fid, £4 5s to £4 las; store cows £1 18s to £2 15s; yearling Jersey heifers £2 10s to £3 10s;„J el '? e y heifers, due August, £7 and £7 10s, dairv cows, good, due July-August, £9, potter bulls £2 ss, £4 7s 6d to £6.
