MANGAORE v. MANGAHAO,

The Mangaore and Mangaliao Tennis Clubs met at the Mangaore Courts on Saturday afternoon last in a “conqueror” match, resulting in a win for the home team by one game., Tea-was dispensed with by the ladies and an en joyable- time was spent by both players and spectators. The_ following are ,the scores, Mangaore being mentioned first in each case: —

Ladies’ Doubles—Miss Blackwood and Mrs King (2) v. Misses Whiteford and Robinson (6), Mrs Elvines and Miss Robinson (6) v. Misses Ross and Williams (5). During the week-end a team of six men from, the Miranui Club visited Mangaore and played a series of friendly games, resulting in an easy win for the visitors.
