The Chinese Masonic Hall, Grey Avenue, Auckland, was gaily decorated with flags and evergreens and illuminated by night when about 300 brethren of the Chinese Masonic fraternity and a large number of Auckland business people, as guests, gathered to greet Grand Master Mr. Gin Go k Yin, who celebrated his sixtieth birthday and had been for 30 years Grand Master of the lodge in Auckland. The president, Mr. C. King Lim, on behalf of the brethren, presented the Grand Master with a large gold pendant. The Wellington lodge sent a gold medal and cheqae with its greetings, a cheque also being received from the Hamilton Lodge. I
