WOMAN FOUND SUFFERING FROM POISON.

INCIDENT AT SHANNON STATION. A sensation was eausecl at the Shannon railway station on Friday when a . married woman named Mrs Jessie Heney, aged about 45, drank a quantity .of poison, while in the waiting lobby. The police were notified of the occurrence, and Dr. Bell was summoned. On he administered an emetic to the woman and ordered her immediate removal to the Palmerston Hospital. Information received from the Hospital states that the patient is still seriously ill.
