SHANNON v. MANGAORIj.
A visit was received from a team from the Mangaore Club on Saturday afternoon, and after an interesting and enjoyable contest, the local players secured a victory by 18 games to 3. During the afternoon, tea awas dispensed by the ladies and much appreciated by the players and friends. Arrangements are being made to return the visit to Mangaore on March 10th. .The following are the scores, the visitors being mentioned first in each case: — Men’s Singles.—H. Symonds 4v. C. .
