Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: At Levin yards on Tuesday, 14th inst., they offered, to a fair attendance of buyers', a good yarding of cattle and a medium entry of sheep. The yarding of pigs were very small. A total clearance was effected at the ioHowmg prices:— r Cattle: Fat cows £5 5s to £6 10s, forward cows £4 2s Gd to £4 18s, steers £G jl2s Gd to £7 10s, fat heifers £3 5s io £5 10s, weaner heifers £2 7s to £2 .lis, cuii caives 30s, springing heifers io 5s to. £8 10s. Sheep: Wooly lambs 14s to 20s, cull owes 8s 2d to 9s 3d, shorn lambs 12s 3d, wether's 19s 7d, fat wethers 22s 5d ro 24s Id, llonmey rams £2 2s to £3 3s, ewes 13s 3d to 14s Bd.
Pigs: Weauers 7s 6d, light porkers £1 to £1 7s. stores 12s, boar (large white.) £6 os,'ditto (|-breed) £3 3s. "
