SHANNON SCHOOL PICNIC.

TO-MORROW. The school picnic to Plimmerton tomorrow promises to be well patronised by residents, and as there is every indication that the day will be fine those who make the journey should spend an enjoyable time. The train'.will leave Shannon at 8.20 a.m., leaving Plimmerton on the return journey at 4.26 p.m. ieaching Shannon at G. 15 p.m., The return fare for adults will be 4s 6d, and for senior scholars 3s, the school children's fare being paid by the committee. Tickets are procurable at Mr J. V. Burns' shop, which will be open for the sale of tickets for an hour prior to the train leaving, when it is hoped those, who intend making the trip will purchase their tickets, as it is not desired to sell themon the-train.
