SUMMER TIME ACT.

PROTEST BY DAIRY COMPANY DIRECTORS. The disabilities experienced by farmers under the operation of the Summer Time Act were discussed at the monthly meeting of the directors of the Levin Dairy Company, Ltd., yesterday, and the following resolution was passed: , "That the Directors of the Levin Dairy Comprny, Limited, protest against the continuance of Daylight Saving, as we consider it is not in the best interests of the farming community." This action, taken after what may be considered a.fair trial of the system by the dairy farmers, confirms a resolution passed at the annual meeting of shareholders of the Company, in July, when the Bill was before the House.
