HOROWHENUA ASSOCIATION. The following are the averages, best and worst returns of the Horowhenua Herd Testing Association for the 30 days period ended December 3rd:— Association average, all groups. —889 lb milk, 4.1 per cent, test, 36,581 b fat. Highest herd average: 49 cows, 1511 lb milk, 3.8 per cent, test, 58,03 lb fat.’ Lowest herd average: 29 cows, 649 lb. milk, 3.8 per cent, test, 24,09 lb fat. Highest individual: 95.16 lb fat (30 days). Lowest'-individual: 7.80 lb fat (30 days). Group averages.—Association method, 19 cows, 95 lb milk, 3.9 test, 37.08 lb fat,. Group method, 45 cows. 862 lb milk, 4.1 test, 35.54 lb fat. * . Herd averages. —Highest herd: Association method, 4 cows, 129.0 lb milk, 3.7 test, 47.82 lb fat; Mr E-. Bruce’s, of Palmerston North. Group method, 49 cows, 1511 lb mild, 3.8 .test, 58.03 lb fat; Messrs Harper Bros., of Weraroa. Lowest herd: Association method, 20 cows, 71S lb milk, 4.7 test, 34.36 lb fat.
