A ROOF GARDEN
Three ' hundred 1 feet above Mother Earth, on the roof of Adelaide House at London Bridge, there is a remarkable garden. There arc groAving not only floAA'ers, but fruit trees including? apricot, plum, apple, pear and fig. A; Avomon, Miss V. Stockton, is the head? gardener, and she is justly proud of the fact 'that she has grown, .violas/ lobelias, begonias, petunias, antirrhinums, geraniums, marguerites, hydrangeas, stocks and dahlias in her elevated' garderi. From v the air, this patch of beauty presents a bright picture.
