The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that at the Levin sale on November 22nd there was a good yarding of sheep and cattle.. There was a big attendance of buyers and keen competition, all lines offered being cleared under the hammer at the following prices:—Fat wethers 34s to 355, fat hoggets 32s 6d, fat ewes 26s 6d to 27s 6d, extra good twotooth woolly ewes 36s 3d, short twoto'oth ewes (small) 24s 3d, shorn twotooth wethers s(small) 18s 6d to £l, aged ewes with 100 per cent. b.f. lambs 24s 6d to 25s 6d. Fat heifers £5, forward condition cows £3 to £3 6s, cows in calf to P.A. bull £4 17s 6d, cows with calves £3 to £5, store cows £2 to £2,155, high grade yearling Jersey heifers (good quality) £6 11s, medium Jersey heifers £3 7s 6d to £4 10s, coloured yearling heifers £2 15s to £3, bulls £2 10s to £7, dairy cows £4 to £7 10s, porkers £2 to. £2 3s, stores 22s to 32s Od, wcaners 12s 6d to 16s, maiden sows to farrow £2 17s 6d to £3'los.
