CRICKET.
WERAROA DEFEAT OTAKI. The cricket match between Werayoa and Otaki, played ac Weraroa on Saturday, was easily won by the home team, who compiled 153, to xvliich Otaki responded with 54. The score of Watts for Weraroa was only one short of that of the whole Otaki side; Wallace was responsible, for 48, and Ilellamore for 22. The only visiting players to reach double figures were Sievers 22 and J .Johnson 10. Bull put up a great bowling performance, capturing seven Otaki wickets for a tally of 20 runs.
