MAORILAND THEATRE.

' «SOMEWHERE*IN SONORA* '— WEDNESDAY. ' Ken Maynard" scores again in the latest First National production, '"Somewhere in Sonora," to be shown at the Maoriland' Theatre on WedneaI day. The western star astonishes with his ability to do the most sensational and daring riding stunts ever seen on. the screen. "Somewhere in Sonora" I ! further than just supplying thrills. It has a story replete with romance and beautiful background. The photoj graphy is jmagnificent. Charles R. Rogers, the producer, and Al Rogell, the director, have added sufficient historical interest in the tale to put the production head and shoulders above the average western feature. Maynard.is seen as Bob Bishop, a famous rider who explores various sections of Arizona and Mexico for Bart Leadley, played by Joe Bennett, the runaway son of Bishop's benefactor. Mary Burton (Kathleen Collins), the daughter "bf a silver mine owner, takes a dislike to Bishop at the outset of

the tale. Her love for him grows with the picture. Ben Coibett as "Kettle Belly" Simpson and Monte Montague give effective comedy reiief as Bishop's pals. Charles Hills Mailes, Carl Stockdale, Richard Neill and Yvonne Howell lend fine support in excellent characterizations.

"BIGGER THAN BARNTJMS"— THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.

Trapped fifteen stories above fthe street in a blazing holet—every avenue of escape closed by the shrieking flames —with a frightful, death staring him in the face —and far below his disgraced son gazing with a wild, desperate hope at a slender wire swaying from the hotel roof to a nearby building! Such is one of the many sensational situations to be seen in "Bigger than Barnum's," the great circus* romance which will be screened at the Maoriland Theatre on Thursday and Friday. ,!
