RESCUED 6,7 CHILDREN.
NEW YOBK, Nov. 18.
How a nun carried 67 sleeping children from a dormitory, which was a veritable roaring furnace, and skipped, with her burdens, from beam to bear, as the floorboards burned beneath her leet, stands out amid the confusion of the story of the burning of the Baptistine Orphanage. Sister Mary Gabriel w&s the nun who performed the amazing rescues, in the odurse of which she collapsed three times.
