THAT SPARE
Realising that' the rear of the car is' the wrong place to carry a spare tyre, the efficient car owner at least tries to make the best of it. That is why he makes a point to turn the sparo around now aud again, so that one side of the tyre will not always be exposed to the mud and water from the roads. If the tyre carrier is such that the spare must hang in the same position all the time, at least the shoe can be turned to have the other side face the sun for a change. Or the spare can be run on a wheel for a few hundred miles.
