GOLF NOTES.

END OF SEASON NEXT SATURDAY It, has been decided to end the golf season so far as the Shannon club is concerned, next Saturday, when various competitions such as putting, approaching etc., will be held. It is hoped that as many as possible will be in attendance and so make the day’s a fitting one-for the occasion. The season has been an exceptionally successful one and a good “wind up” will leave pleasant memories for which to start next year. Play will commence at about 1.30 p.m. and the men will be charged an entrance fee for the events. The ladies are kindly asked to supply afternoon tea.
