FOXTON HIGH SCHOOL.

- SUCCESSFUL TENDERS,

The following were the successful tenderers for the Foxton High School building:— Brickwork: John Jones and Sons, £2713; steel sashes, J. Duthie and Co., £571; joinery, Marlon Sash and Door Co., £9O; cast iron, plumbing material, Plumbers Ltd., £57 13s Bd.

The carpentering, pointing, etc., will be carried out by the Board's permanent staff.

The levelling of the site will be proceeded witli immediately, and when this is completed the work of construction will be proceeded with. The building should be ready for occupation in about six months time.
