OTAKI RACING CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the above was held yesterday, Avhen the following officers were elected:—Patron, Hon. Bollard; president, Mr. Reve Nikitini; vice-presidents, Sir M. Pomarc, W. 11. Field, M.P., A. te Hivvi, Are Katcra; stewards, Hone Makimereni, Hemi R. Te Ao, Ruihi Wehipeihana, Epiha Hawma, Wirihana Rei, Haimona Ranapiri, Hona Weepa, Ivupa Hnw'ca, Roha Wehipeihana, Utiku Hapeta, Keepn Hihira and Tom Parata; judge, Mr. W P. Russell; starter, Mr. A. A’incent; handicapper, Mr. H. Coyle; timekeeper. Matenga Baker; clerk of course, Mr. Henare O’Tonorc; lion, surgeons, Dr. Milne, Dr. Atmorc and Dr. te Rangihiroa; judicial committee, Messrs Rerc Nikitini, Hemi R. To Ao, Hone Makimereni, Haimona Ranapiri, Epiha Hawea and Keepa Hihira. It was decided to lease about 25 acres of the club’s course (inside area) to the Chinese.
A deputation from the Otaki Motor Club could not be received on account of the lengthy meeting.
Stakes for the next race meeting were allotted on similar lines to the last October meeting.
