BEBBINGTON SHIELD MATCH.
AT LEVIN TO-MORROW
On the Levin Domain to-morrow (Wednesday) Horow'henua will take the field in defence of the Bebbington Shield for the second time this season this time against their old opponents Bush.
The visitors, who are making a special bid for the trophy, have been in camp for the past week training hard for to-morrow’s game. They are sending their strongest -team and will arrive in Levin this evening. Possessing [ a solid set of forwards, in addition to | a safe set of backs, Bush arc fairly confident of success and can be relied upon to make a bold fight. The ■Horow'henua' representatives indulged in their final training preparations before the game last evening, when a full muster was present. All are in perfect physical condition, with the exception of Bond, who is still suffering from injuries to the face and will not be available for, to-morrow, being replaced by Tana. Chisholm will be in his position behind the scrum, while R. McDonald will replace Greig in the front row. - Otherwise the team Will be‘identical with the one that inflicted such a heavy defeat on Dannevirlce. The game will be in cluirge of Mr F.’C.
