. Once more the BOftly feminine type is being catered for, and the new style of bob, with the hair softly curling at the nape of the neck, will have many supporters (says the “ Sunday Chronicle ”). Picture frocks for evening, soft silk frocks trimmed with laces or frills for afternoon and tailor-mades soften, ed by tucks and pleats for morning wear are all created for the feminine girl. She may even indulge in sports clothes now, for their severity is lost when heavily embroidered in gorgeous colours. The new bob is particularly suitable for evening for the close-cropped shingle is rarely at its best in conjunction with a soft evening frock. Already many pretty designs in combs and slides have appeared, some of the daintiest being in the form of flowers. Tinted in .soft colours, and with petals Of a thin, transparent composition, these flowers look very charming in the 'evening. Sometimes a silk or feather flower is stitched to the slido to match the flower on the frock. Gold, silver, or diamante slides are also being worn.
