BABY SHOW.

CHAMPIONSHIP OF MANAWATU. The Baby Show will be held, on Fri* day' at 2.30 p.m. in the Druids' Hall in conjunction with the Athletic Club’s Carnival Bazaar, winch will open on Thursday and be continued to 10 p.m, on Saturday. Friday afternoon has been set aside especially for mothers and children to attend the Bazaar as the Committee realises that mothers with young children cannot attend in the evening. There will be competitions for babies as follows: Girls under 12 months.and boys under 12 months; girls under .1 year and 9 months; boys under 1 year and nine months. The baby competition is for the championship of Manawatu. Intending competitors are asked to nominate as soon as possible with Mr J V. Burns. Late entries will be received up to 2.15 p.m. in the Hall on Friday afternoon.
