BUTTER FAT PAYMENTS.
LEVIN COMPANY PAYS FURTHER ADVANCE. lid OVER WHOLE SEASON. The welcome announcement was made to a Chronicle representative to-day that the Levin Dairy Company would pay an additional advance of lid per lb "on the whole of the butter fat supplied during the 1926-27 season. As to whether it was a final payment or not, the reporter could obtain no information, this not. yet being ascertainable. The Directors of the Company held a mooting to-day and reviewed the financial returns of the past season, with the result that they found they were able to make this further advance. , The Company was able to pay not less than Is 2d throughout the season, but the average payment has not yet been worked out. The total amount involved in the extra payment is between £IO,OOO and £II,OOO and it will bo disbursed in the middle of July.
