SENSATIONAL POLICE COUP.

INTERNATIONAL BURGLAR GANG ARRESTED. MELBOURNE, June 3. One of the biggest coups carried out by the Victorian Criminal Investigation Branch was effected in the earlyhours to-day when detectives raided a house in Fitzroy and arrested five members of a gang of international burglars at the revolver point and recovered over £IOO worth of stolen property. The police state that three weeks ago they got on the track of the gang and had been watehing since, as they were certain the gang was responsible'for a series of daring burglaries recently perpetrated. . Three of those arrested had only arrived from England three weeks ago, ; while the others, also immigrants, had been in the' country for years.
