HAWKE’S. BAY TEAM SELECTED
NAPIER, Last Night. The Hawke’s Bay team to defend the Ranfurly Shield on June 3rd against Wairarapa has been selected as follows: :
Full-back.—Neal (Napier). Three-quarters.—Grenside (Hastings) Blake (Hastings), Baiiey (Dannevirke V Five-eighths.—Paewai (Dannevirke), N. Grenside (Hastings). Half. —Corkill (Wairoa). Wing-forward. —S. Genimel (Wairoa). Forwards. —Single (Napier), Campbell (Hastings), M. Brownlee (Hastings), C. Brownlee (Wairoa), Conrad (Dannevirke), Swain (Napier), J. Gemmel (Wairoa), Strachan (Napier), of the last-named two to be reserve on the day. . There are notable changes m the Bay team. Only six of last year’s fifteen that played Wairarapa are playing this year.
