Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd.. , report that there was a large attendance at their weekly stock sale at Levin yesterday, when they offered a good yarding of sheep, a fair yarding of cattle, and a small entry of pigs.- Sales,, were effected at the following prices:— Sheep.—Wether hoggets 14s 7d to - 16s 6d, ewe hoggets 15s sd, mixed sex . hoggets 15s ,9d. . „„ • Cattle. —Fat cows £2 17s 6d to £3 19s, store cows 32s 6d to £2 4s 6d, empty.,, cows 32s 6d to £2 10s,. springing heifers £5 to £6 ss. / Pigs. —Weaners 245, light porkers oOs to 36s 6d, medium porkers to £2 ss. ' •
