Cars will leave the Post Office at 12.45 p.m.. Any players unable to travel are requested to notify the secretary as soon as possible. It is gratifying to see that some or this season’s new players have gained positions in the team, and should they continue to improve as rapidly in the future great things may be expected of them. ' , , . ~ The monthly medal mateh for May was won by Miss Saxon and Mr B. Spencer. These two players, earned off the trophies on the opening day, and no wonder those above them on their respective ladders are beginning to feel the danger that is rapidly approaching. Already quite a lot of 1 alterations have taken place and the growing keenness will result in many more interesting and hard fought games. It is hoped to have, the local rules drawn up arid posted at the golf house within the next few days and all players are requested to make themselves familiar with them. A sheet for recording eclectic scores will also be ready and players can start entering, in the squares provided, any extraordinarily good holes they may make when doing the rounds. Such scores however must have been entered on a card and the card signed by both player and partner. Scores already entered may be altered at any time.
