SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTION

. , <> —■ On Monday evening next householders in the Shannon School district will be called upon to elect a school committee for the ensuing year. The election will' take place at the School at 7.30 p.m. Eleven candidates have been nominated for the nine seats, only five of whom were members of the old committee, viz., Messrs Tippler, Blackwood, Butt, Bowler, ancl Laukshoar. It is hoped there will be a large attendance as there are several important “matters to be dealt with during the coming -year therefore it behoves the householders to elect a good committee. Following are the nominations received: —Messrs A. R. Blackwood, Or. E. Booker, J. V. Burns, J. Bowler, E. Butt, A. E.' Coates, T. Ingley, W. A. Lanksheav, J- F. Riches, J. H. Sinclair, and. R. L. Tippler.
