GOLF NOTES.
Once again the golfing-feeling is in the air and rusty clubs are u being polished for hard work in the near fut- ' ure. Already a 1 few enthusiasts'have' been trying out the new course at Buck- ; ley, and seasoned players speak highly \ of it. The ground is high and dry and within easy reach of Shannon. Play will commence in earnest to-morrow, when all present, new members and intending members of the club are cordially invited to be present. Play will commence at 1.15 p.m. and older members are requested to see that new players have partners and that the first rules of the game are made clear. Medal matches will be held as soon as' the course is in suitable condition^
To-morrow lady members are requested to provide refreshments.
