ANZAC DAY IN SHANNON.

Monday next being Anzac Day, a whole holiday will be observed. Preparations have been made for a Memorial Service to be held at the Cenotaph which will commence sharp at 11 " a.m. If wet, it will be held in the hail. His Worship invites all to te present. The Levin Band will lead the singing of the hymns and Revs. \Villi;ir,ison and Farnell ' will conduct >;he service, the former giving the address. At the conclusion Bandmaster jjester will sound the "Last Post.*' The school children' will assemble at the school as usual and after a class ■ talk oh, the meaning of Anzac, they will join the returned soldiers at the school at. 9,.30 a.m., and headed by the Levin Bard they will match to'the Cenotaph. There will be no public service at the school.
