BUTTERFAT ADVANCES.

VARIATIONS IN WAIKATO PAYOUTS. : There are many variations in the rates of advances made this month to dairy factory suppliers throughout the Auckland province!. Few come up to the payments in this district. TheTe Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Company's advance will be Is per lb butterfat. , The New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company will pay Is Id per lb butterfat to its suppliers. The Waikato Valley Co-op. Dairy Co., will advance Is Id. Cambridge Dairy Co. advances are Is lsd for butter and Is Id for cheese. Bruntwood Cheese Co. has fixed the advance at Is per lb butterfat. The Hairini Cheese Factory pay out is Is 3d per lb. At least one factory claims an advance at the rate of Is 3d per lb, but that is an exception. The majority of the Waikato factories will advance round about Is per lb, but there are some still paying off prices obtained for last season's stored stocks of produce, and. their advances will be down to per lb butterfat. The pay-out by the Northern factories for February supply in Whangarei is Is Id, compared with Is 4d last February; Hikurangi, Is Id, compared with Is 3d; Bay of Islands, Is lid, compared with Is 2d; Northern Wairoa, Is 2d, compared with Is 3d; Maungaturoto, Is for superfine and IHd for first grade, compared with Is 3d and Is 2i& last February.
