RESULTS OF GUESSING COMPETITIONS. J Although three competitions at the ■ recent show were known generally as guessing competitions, the results would indicate that the word “guess” is misapplied. In the fat bullock competition three had the correct weight, in the one sheep, competition there were also three correct cards returned and in the three sheep event there was one correct return and six others within half a pound of the exact weight. The various results are as .follow: — FAT BULLOCK. Correct wei'ght 8141bs. Messrs S. Butt and A. Bryant, of Levin, and W. Watkins, of Weraroa returned the correct weight. ONE SHEEP. Correct weight 63|lbs.. Exact weight recorded by H. Mungavin, Obau; L. .Griffiths, Weraroa; and Les Mac Don-j aid, Levin. f I THREE SHEEP. [ Correct weight 181-Jlbs.. The first prize • goes to Air W. Fyffe, Weraroa,; who recorded the exact, weight. Messrs i G. Winter, W. G. Vickers, and J. Keb- j bell, of Levin, returned cards with 18£ I lbs, while the returns of Messrs Jack! Kilsby and L Dunn, of Levin, and L, H. Best, of Shannon, showed 1811bs. '
