LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Abraham qnd Williams, Ltd., report having held a successful sale of live stock at the Levin yards yesterday, when there was a good attendance cf the public. There was a large yarding of pigs, slips and good porkers being well re-' pr-sented, together with some prim • bacon pigs. Slips sold from 23/0. 27/to 35/6; good weaners 18/6-to 22/6, sows in pig £4 to £4 2s 6d, light porkers 37s to £2, medium porkers £2 to £2 10s, heavy porkers £2 10s to £2 19s, baeoners £3 to £3 Bs.
Only one pen of sheep was entered. Prime woolly wethers sold at 34/-. The cattle pens rvere well filled. Threeyear steers, mixed colours, realised £5 ss; 24-year Shorthorn steers £3 10s to £4 6s, 18-m'onths Shorthorns £2 13s, 18months Polled Angus steers £3 9s, twoyear Shorthorn heifers £3 9s, yearling Polled Angus heifers £2 11s. fat eov/s £4 5s to £5 54, forward cows £2 5s to £2 13s, store cows 27s to 355, springing heifers £5 7s 6d.
