In beating E. Gough at the Motordrome 011 Monday night, Spencer Stratton, with Gough agreeing, rode a 3£ h.p. machine, while Gough rode a 2$ h.p. one. After file contest Gough challenged Stratton to race ou 2J h.p. machines. As, jiowever, Stratton is expected to be racing in''another State next Saturday, it appears that the challenge *will not be met.
