The manner in whi,ch the various items were staged, combined with the lighting, gave the whole -performance a most spectacular effect and one which will long be remembered by the audisnee. The performers also did their part well, and the large audience were quick to realise their ability as was shown by the hearty applause accorded each item. This must have been very gratifying to the teachers who had devoted so much time in preparing the children. All concerned with the organisation of the entertainment are deserving of the highest praise and it is hoped, that in future the Shannon School concert will become an annual one, which we feel sure everyone will look forward to.
