•During the month just past 29 new consumers have signed up with the Horowhenua Power Board. Included in this number are 4 ranges, 4 waterheaters and 2 milking motors; 27 applications for extensions have been received including 5 ranges, 4 milking motors, 5 industrial motors and 8 water - heaters. Thirty new consumers have been connected up and 29 extensions to existing installations as follows: 14 waterheaters, 11 ranges, 3 milking motors and 9 industrial motors, totalling 100$ horse-power. The more important consumers connected during the period are: Paiaka Plaxmxill (06 h.p.) , and Otaki Dairy Co. (9 h.p.).
