VACANCIES ON COUNCIL FILLED
Nominations for the three vacancies on the Shannon Borough Council, caused by the resignations of Messrs Roberts, G. Hook and G. Watkins, closed with the returning officer, Mr J. • T. T. Bovis, at noon on Friday last. Only tree nominations were received, those of Messrs Harold Edward Hook, Alfred Ernest Hyde, and Arthur Henry, Richards. As,these were the required number to fill-the vacancies, these .genatle?rien have been duly elected and no election will now be'necessaiy.
