Nominations for the three vacancies on the Shannon Borough Council, caused by the resignations of Messrs Roberts, G. Hook and G. Watkins, closed with the returning officer, Mr J. • T. T. Bovis, at noon on Friday last. Only tree nominations were received, those of Messrs Harold Edward Hook, Alfred Ernest Hyde, and Arthur Henry, Richards.
