It was decided that the subscription for th 3 season be £l. After a good deal of discussion as to ways and means of raising funds to purchase, new matting and material it was decided to run a gusssing competition. The hope *as expressed thatthe public would rally round and assist the"Club in their effort. The chairman in reporting that the Council had acceded to the Club's reto assist them in patting down a new pitch on the Domain, expressed the Club's appreciation of the ouncil ; a assistance. It Avas reported that there Avill be no difficulty in putting a team in the field, as the secretary already had the name's of fifteen active mi-mbeis. As soon as the ticket is doAvn the chairman stated that members would be able to practic- every evening and he trusted that e* ,iy member would take advantage of this.'-pportuirity and thus enable the club to v ake .i creditable stand during the sea ton.
