"BACK TO CHILDHOOD."
(To the Editor.) Sir,—Might I crave space in your valuable paper for the insertion oi.. the undermentioned remarks: —It is gratifying to know that the adverse and uncalled for criticism of a certain church body concerning the "Bask to Childhood Dance" has proved absolutely unfounded. The criticism showed great lack of confidence in the promoters and in the public of Shannon, and it is pleasing to know that those who attended had an enjoyable evening, whilst through all, the feeling of jollity and good fellowship prevailed. The dance was excellently controlled as all present could testify," and as a patron I have no hesitation in saying that the same liberal support will be forthcoming when the occasion offers. The only thing that remains now is that those who misjudged should have the courtesy to acknowledge their error. —I am, etc., A PATRON.
