ATHLETIC CLUB’S SPORTS.

LABOUR DAY. The principal attraction m Shannon on Monday next (Labour Day) will be the above sports. The Club in the past have been noted for the excellent bill of fare they present to the public, and this meeting will be no exception. There Avill be cycling, running, field events and other forms of sport;, all of Avhich should keep the public interested. As the different events, particularly the cycling, have filled fairly ivell, some splendid contests should be witnessed. During the day the LcA*in Band will • render items. The cycling and running tracks have been improved and it only remains for the Club to be favoured. Avith a fine day. and the success of the meeting will be assured.
