I)UE TO LOWER PRICES Last week New Zealand butter touched 136 s per cwt. on the London market, the lowest point fer many years. The latest cables report an improvement on this quotation, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., liavreceived the following message from their London House under date of i the 18th instant:'— Butter. —Demand improved owing to reduced prices. We quote New Zealand finest salted 144 sto 1465. The future must be uncertain owing l»o heavy stocks. Total imports of butter into United Kingdom for September, 1926, were 429,000cwt5., 9,6 comp'ared with 396,000ewt5. for the corresponding period last year. TO-DAY'S PAY OUTS.
