GOLF NOTES.
«►- JULY MEDAL MATCH NEXT SATURDAY. Members of the local club are reminded of the July medal match to; be played on Saturday next. It is hoped that as many as possible will take part and so make the competition a keen one. On ;Saturday last the finier-Clubi match Foxton v. Shannon resulted in a win for Shannon with ten games to six. A most enjoyable afternoon's sport was experienced by all,; the afternoon tea,' which was dispensed toy the ladies.of the Club helping in no small measure to make it complete.
