CARGO BROACHING.
THIEF TAUGHT LESSON. ’ WELLINGTON, May 24, In the Magistrate's Court Leslie Jorgan Nielsen, aged 27, admitted the theft of 12 pounds of butter, the property of the Federal Steam Navigation Co. The theft was observed by a constable on wharf dut-y. . The Magistrate refused to allow probation in a case of cargo pillaging and sentenced accused to three weeks’ imprisonment.
