PECULATION AS COUNTER CHARGE CHRISTCHURCH, May 24. In the Supreme Court this morning Richard Frederick Shaw claimed £llO damages from the Electric Products and Gramophones Co., of Auckland, on account of .alleged wrongful dismissal of himself when - acting as branch manager. He also claimed £94 for balance of salary. The defence was that Shaw misappropriated certain small sums and disorganised the firm’s business. Shaw denied the charges of dishonesty. The case is proceeding.
