AUCKLAND, May 24. In the Supreme Coprt, Mr Justice Herdman sentenced Wareinu Raua, for forgery and uttering at Tauranga, to 12 months’ hard labour, to be followed by two years’ reformative detention to commence on the expiration of three months now being served. His Honour described accused as a notorious thief.
