A motor ous conveying a football, team was returning from Woodviile to Palmerston iNortn on Saturday night and collided with a car near Asnmntai. The larger vehicle left ' tne road and crashed head iirst into a tree, the shock causing the seats to rip away. Injuries to players were confined to cuts and bruises. The bus was badly damaged. A lady cyclist'' was knocked down by a car on the Foxtomiine on Saturday. night, but escaped with a shaking. Yesterday afternoon, a hve-seater motor car capsized near Tokouiaru through giving too much room to an-, other motor. The five occupants es caped serious injury, although the car was rather badly damaged. On Saturday night two. cars collided head-on on the Awapum bridge, near P.almerston .North.. One was able to proceed on'’its way and the other, in backing away, went into a ditch and had to be abandoned for the time being. Yesterday evening a car driven by ' Mrs Langdon, of Rangiwahia, left tin? road and came to rest on its side bettveen Ashhurst and Palmerston N. Of the Seven occupants, two children, Kathleen Williams 'Palmerston N), and Martin Langdon were taken to the hospital for treatment for minor injuries. -The hoy had several stitches inserted for facial cuts caused by windscreen glass. The other occupants sustained cuts and bruises and a shaking. At the time of the accident another car was approaching with lights full on. Mrs Langdon ' dimmed her lights and was about to stop when the car went over the bank.
