At the meeting of the Horowbenua County Council on Saturday the question of the punt at the old. Shannon bridge was fully discussed, Gr. Barber entering a strong plea that something should be done to remedy the inconvenience caused. It was decided that the Engineer confer at the site with ihe engineer of the Muiiawatu Comity Council and others interested. A lull report will appear iri our next issue.
