TORNADO AT WAIKANAE.
BOATSHED DEMOLISHED. OTAKI, May 6. A tornado struck Waikanae during the recent gale and completely demolished Mr W. Hi. Field’s boat shed, two boats, and a portion of the adjacent bush. The timber was carried nearly a mile away and converted into matchwood, while the iron was crumpled like paper.
