SCHOOL COLOURS.
(To the Editor). Sir, —Suggestions have been invited from, parents by tlie School Committee for a suitable, colour for the girls’ , school blouses. Grey and red have ' been, recommended by the teachers. But it is not every child that can wear a lot of red and as the majority of children in Shannon are fair, I would suggest that the blouse be a light coloured material with a grey pinafore dress, red hat band and blazer with red facings. By having .light-coloured blouses they will be more suitable for the laundry.—l am, etc., PARENT.
