HOROWHENUA COUNTY ELECTIONS.

Nominations of County Councilors for the ensuing period of three years closed to-day, as follows, nominators being named in parenthesis:— Tokomaru Riding, two vacancies: John Russell Whyte (Jas. C. Kelly and 3. Liggins). Harold Barber (A. Seifert and Hugh C. Easton). John Albert Henry Schwass (David John McClure and Eric E. Mabin). Wirokino Biding, three vacancies: Sain Atkinson Boa.rdbelt (A. .T. Gimblett and T. G. Vincent). George Philip . Catley (T. Devine and R. Cr. Wall). William Ernest Kilsby (G. Seivers and F. E. Parker). Alfred McLeavey (M. G. Kirkcaldie and E. Hogg.) Otaki Riding, two vacancies: H. G. Bryant (L. H. Atkins and C. T. Tatum). Frederick James Rydfer (H. G. Bryant and O. J. G. D’Ath. T e Hofo Riding. Iwo vacancies: George Alexander Monk (W. G. Hart and A. Johnston). Christen Pederson Jensen (R. W. Jenkins and H. B. Lethbridge). There will he an election in the Tokomaru and Wirokino Ridings, whilst the councillors nominated for Otaki and Te Horo' Ridings are duly elected, no further nominations having been received. HOROWHENUA POWER BOARD. Three vacancies have occurred in the personnel of the Power, Board, to be elected by vote out of the following'list of nominees: George Alex. Monk (A. 11. Burgess and 11. E. Heifer); Archibald Arthur Brown. (A. Johnston and E, Smith); .Alfred seifort (C. H. Spiers and 11. Barber); George Philip, Catley (T. Devine and R. G. Wall); Thomas Ga-ius Vincent (R. G. Wall and S. A. Broadbelt).

PALMERSTON HOSPITAL BOARD

There are three vacancies to be filled on the Palmerston Hospital Board, for which there are four nominees: S. A. Broadbelt (J. M. Richards and A. J. Gimbletl); Frederick James Ryder (O. ,T. G. D’Ath and H. G. Bryant); Edmund John Stuart Spencer (J. Bowler and J. L. llyrie); George Philip Catley (R. G. Wall and J. D. Brown).
